It achieves an ultimate vacuum in the 0.0004 mbar range and is used for demanding vacuum applications such as freeze drying, drying chambers, concentrators, etc. The RC 6 provides the vacuum performance of a two stage oil sealed rotary vane pump. The chemistry diaphragm pump evacuates the oil reservoir of the rotary vane pump and prevents- under intended operating conditions- the condensation inside the oil-filled section. Any condensation inside the oil-free diaphragm pump is much less problematic.
