Water bath/Tissue Float Bath 1052 Special bath to stretch and dry cut tissue samples embedded in wax, in histological, chemical, clinical and bacteriological laboratories. Temperature range from approx. 5 °C above ambient to approx. +80 °C. Precise temperature regulation, consistently ±0.5 °C, ensures evenly stretched cuttings which are clearly visible in the black anodized bath. The cuttings are carefully dried on the warmed rim of the bath which is also black anodized. Comfortable and safe working due to low bath height of 100 mm. Bath interior made of black anodised aluminium. Housing in powder-coated aluminium. A control thermometer is fixed to rim of the bath within a stainless steel holder. Tested according to the German Equipment Safety Law, with CE mark. 3 GFL Specification Temperature range: up to +80 °C Interior dimensions (Dia. x H): 200 x 60 mm Exterior dimensions (Dia. x H): 280 x 100 mm Supply requirement: 230 V 50/60 Hz, 0.3 kW (alternative voltages are available - details on request) Weight: 2 kg Type PK Cat. It is essentially a hot distilled water floating bath that allows for the meticulous manipulation and location of sections onto glass slides. This Apparatus achieves a stable 45 °C using 2.25 litres of water within 40 minutes. The stability and accuracy have been improved due to the change of control which now also allows the user to set the temperature as opposed to the arbitrary power, thereby reducing the risk of overheating sections. It has a PTFE black interior and powder-coated aluminium exterior, which makes it virtually maintenance-free, extremely easy to clean and allows for improved visibility of floating sections. The lid is not included and can be ordered separately. 4 5 Electrothermal Capacity: 2.5 l Temperature: 30 to 70 °C Temperature Stability: ±0.5 °C Bath material: Aluminium base with PTFE coated interior Dimensions (D x W x H) 330 x 330 x 140 mm Weight: 2.7 kg Heater Power: 240 W Type PK Cat.
